Even though I am local, hadn't visited this chippy in about 30 years. Literally since I was a child, walking home from Carnival day! But we decided to pop in and wow am definitely going back again. Lovely fish and chips and good portion size, value for money. I would say the battered sausage has barely any batter on. But that's my only gripe.
Just brought some chips..See pictures,with my chicken from Aldi .and the tomato sauce I got from asda...Chips aren't anything fancy there potato for god sake and the regency has got the pricing right,anything over £3 there doing you...And again,because it's the closest ,I foolishly used it..But there's something fishy about there fish and chips the oil methinks.It's true,feeling bad this morning,they use a different,"cheaper",oil than Bennett's say..!!Have a look at my newest...read full review

I'm sure the food would have been lovely had I had been there, I was however in the laundrette a couple of doors down from there- I'm a little unsure about how to rate a laundrette, clothes were washed to a high standard???
