Both the wife and I pulled up without booking and found the management very welcoming and friendly, both had the lamb shank.. absolutely perfect,, will recommend if passing or wanting a nice meal

As always, great service, great meal and one of the best cheese boards around.Still as excellent.Maybe something other than crackers with the cheese board, but that is just personal choice.I love dining here.Parking: Even though the pub was very busy and the car park even more so. ..the service was amazing.We were advised where to park offsite, not that we needed to.Congratulations to the Golden Fox. Always a pleasure to eat there.We were well looked after and definitely will return. Thank you.

We had Sunday lunch. The menu was great, difficult to choose. The food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit.

No vegan option available!!, and the 2 vegetarian options have been on the menu for years. I asked if they could do roasted vegetables and chips from other meals which they did, and the food I had was tasty enough, but there was no offer for the chef to prepare me something. When I checked Trip advisor it said vegan and vegetarian choice available, this is definitely not the case. The owner told me they are not that kind of establishment. For fish and meat eaters the menu is fine, but hasn't changed in years.
