A superb experience. My amazing son treated me to lunch here today, his starter was the pink pigeon breast, which of course I tasted and was superb. My calamari starter was excellent and probably the best aioli sauce I have had. My main of roasted Porchetta had amazing flavours and was so tender, the sirloin steak with blue Vinny cheese sauce that my son opted for (and I again tasted) was equally delicious. I just had a drink and a bar snack, so to be fair, can't rate it " excellent " 5 stars as yet. Will revise when I visit again and have a meal. But it is a pretty pub with well maintained period features including a nice open fire

Absolutely lovely meal here to celebrate a special birthday. The waiting team were kind, attentive and thoughtful and the food was truly delicious. The dining room at the back is very tastefully furnished - the only things to be aware of, it was a little noisy because it was busy. It was also a bit difficult to park, but that was partly because the river was high! Would highly recommend a visit and will definitely return!
