Cracking little pub. Landlady might seem abrupt at first, but she is a take it or leave it, gem!Friendly and great beer.

Some really good craft beer , served by the landlady who is a real character. Didn't eat but the pizza looked great.

Had an excellent night drinking cider playing pool and eating the best crisps I've ever

A friendly pub just off the main road. They also have LAND LORDS BEER ( TIMOTHY Taylor's ) on. ????

Proper English pub, good ales, pool table, discrete beer garden.

Can understand other reviews but we had no problem. The beer was lovely.

Not good, land lord was basically rude. Why be dog friendly then complain about dogs because of your cat? Wont be back and this is my first negative review ive ever made. Good manners cost nothing x

Lovely toilets.... Rather rude land lady... Made me look like an idiot looking for light switch for the toilet when there wasn't one!! The switch was behind the bar!!The kids Asked for change for the pool table, but they had none !! Also the darts and pool lights didn't get turned on till we were about to leave... It was the last pub we visited that evening and to be honest it's a nice place, just a shame we felt like we weren't wanted.....

Only been a couple of times. But each time I’m in I’m never disappointed. Love when I can get a good pint of Wolf on draught. Long may it continue.
Class little pub... Great beers for a little place going to be a regular haunt for us when we're up here....

Hottest day of year, walked down from campsite at 3pm for a pint and maybe food. Not open till 4pm - they missed out on our business.

Great village pub, friendly locals, excellent real ale. Pint and wine under £8 bargin, where we live a wine costs that.
Best pub in the village by far ?
