Our first time having Sunday Lunch at the Daleside. The meal was well prepared, cooked and presented. Delicious food, good service and a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. A return visit is definitely on the cards.

Best Sunday lunch in a very long time. Took friends as we knew it would be good, but was outstanding. Just like mum used to make. Love to have a good selection of veg, served in tureens as avoids being overwhelmed by large portions. We were given 5 freshly cooked veg, to accompany tender beef, 3 types of potato, traditional salad condiments in bowls - lots of gravy and home made Yorkshire pud - couldn’t have asked for more. 4 empty plates and no space for dessert. Highly recommended at such a reasonable price ??????

Called today for Sunday lunch. Lovely home cooked vegetables were mashed, roast, boiled potatoes, carrots, mushy peas, parsnip, cabbage and turnip. Beef was so plentiful and tender. Staff really accommodating and friendly. Will definitely be calling again.
