We’ve been coming here for years as my son loves the gyoza and I love the fact it is always so chilled and quiet. I usually get sushi which is good quality, fresh and reasonably priced. Have generally avoided the hot meals in the past but today I decided to try the ramen. Oh my gosh, this is a total game changer! It’s made to order, hot, and extremely satisfying and delicious. We did have to wait a little as they had several orders for ramen - now I understand why! What a way to up your game Nudo! Will definitely be back.

We wanted somewhere slightly off the beaten track as Durham was very busy hosting the Brass Festival. So we walked over Framwelgate Bridge into a quieter area and found Nudo. We both had a Bao bun (£4) after the lady behind the counter explained what one was by showing how she made one. We had pork char siu and aromatic duck, both with teriyaki sauce. The bun part is steamed bread and is very light. The buns were delicious. The only fault we found was that the bun is served in a small box even if you opt to eat inside and you get no cutlery (not needed with the bun) and no serviettes despite the sauce being very sticky. However the wc was available to wash hands when finished. It's more like a cafe than a restaurant. We would definitely eat here again.

Lovely experience dining here. The sushi was crafted to perfection and the wonderful staff convinced me to try out their new bao buns! They were so soft and such a wild ride of texture and taste. You can’t skip out on their bubble teas and they were incredible! The staff are all incredible, funny and helpful including the short one (under 5’4”).

staff are nice an friendly. some of the food is really good, such as the onigiri and sushi, but I tried the hot yakisoba meal yesterday because it was half price and the food was very dry, no dipping sauce for the dumplings, tasty was okay, a little on the bland side. was an okay meal for around 4 quid but would never purchase it at full price. I do like that there's a lot of half price food if you go fairly late in the day. In terms of atmosphere, I've literally only seen a max of 3 tables of people when I've been in, usually it's almost empty. overall it's okay if you need a quick meal late afternoon / early evening.Vegetarian options: there are plenty of veggie + vegan options

Normally I come here on my work lunch break for the sushi, but that’s all changed since they started making absolutely unreal ramen, hands down the best ramen spot in the city, actually spicy then you ask for spicy! Generous portions, cooked fast and served by the lovely staff. Unbeatable tbh :)Vegetarian options: Everything as far as I know can be made veggie, and some things are even halal for my Muslim friends!
