We wanted somewhere slightly off the beaten track as Durham was very busy hosting the Brass Festival. So we walked over Framwelgate Bridge into a quieter area and found Nudo. We both had a Bao bun (£4) after the lady behind the counter explained what one was by showing how she made one. We had pork char siu and aromatic duck, both with teriyaki sauce. Lovely experience dining here. The sushi was crafted to perfection and the wonderful staff convinced me to try out their new bao buns! They were so soft and such a wild ride of texture and taste. You can’t skip out on their bubble teas and they were incredible! The staff are all incredible, funny and helpful including the short one (under 5’4”).

Normally I come here on my work lunch break for the sushi, but that’s all changed since they started making absolutely unreal ramen, hands down the best ramen spot in the city, actually spicy then you ask for spicy! Generous portions, cooked fast and served by the lovely staff. Unbeatable tbh :)Vegetarian options: Everything as far as I know can be made veggie, and some things are even halal for my Muslim friends!
