Used click and collect order for 3 x crates of pop. Due to special offer then order wasn't enough to quality for collection.Asda charge 50p for collection so I added a jar of coffee to my order to make up for it.Woke in the morning to an email to say the 3 x crates were out of stock but I had to still come along at my allocated time slot to collect a jar of coffee!!!Service is poor. Or should I state, my experience of the service is very poor. Waste of my time and fuel and I was charged an additional 50pence for the experience.Common sense is not used. The most ridiculous part of it all was an asda worker used a heavy duty trolley to wheel along a jar of coffee to my waiting car...I wont be using this service again it's pointless.

I never used to shop anywhere other than Asda pre covid, then the prices got silly so needed to shop elsewhere. However I do still pop in for odds & ends I can’t purchase in cheaper shops & I still use the opticians. I find the vast majority of staff really obliging, however the toilets are disgusting ?

My partner has been to the store in Hartlepool an hour ago ,he bought some hot n spicey chicken breast strips from the self serve oven at the deli counter ,they were absolutely disgusting ,there was hardly any chicken in them ? full of batter or whatever it is and we couldnt even bite into them ?‍♀️we snapped them in half to try to eat them but it was a waste of time ,they must have been in that oven for hours ,surely the staff must realise this ,not happy at all

Staff member more interested in talking and looking for carrier bags, than she was about serving, then couldnt be bothered to type voucher code in as it wouldn't scan, good job had my bank card on me,aswell.

Years ago I had a stroke which hsd left me with a few issues. However, ASDA used to be the place I went for my weekly shopping. On my visit here today, I arrived to find every disabled parking space full and had to park several hundred yards away from the store.I need to use one of the smaller trolleys, as I have difficulties manoeuvring the larger ones and using a basket and walking stick is just impossible. Alas, no small trolleys were available. This really is an issue for me, since I was promised they were supposed to be getting a new delivery of smaller trolleys last Christmas - It doesn't seem like they've arrived yet. They did go through a phase where they appeared to be relying on the self-checkout tills and only had two checkout staff on at a time, with the queues going all the way down the isles. At least today there was several checkout staff available for those of us who need them.Unfortunately, it seems ASDA is now another one of those places that for the sake of profit has become so frustrating and difficult it is to be avoided...

Don't like being pushed into self service, prefer to be served by checkout assistant.

Staff helpful. Store easy to find items

Seems to be well stocked. Disappointed they haven't got staff now to help elderly, disabled or just weaker customers with heavier purchases. We had to rely on a helpful security guard to help us put bags in our cart.Excuse is they can't afford to hire more staff. I personally don't believe it. It's all about keeping profits high.

I hate grocery shopping, but asda was my go to ‘safe’ store because it had all the items I like, and I knew exactly where everything was so I could be in and out as quickly as possible. Then they rearranged the entire refrigerated section, so now I can probably never come in again ? #neurodivergentproblems

I always use scan and go, but there wasn't many left and the shop wasn't that full. Mine decided to run out after I scanned my last product. So had to go to self serve and re scan them.

Poor quality on some fruit and vegetables.Poor customer service, for example, staff reorganising shelves step in front of you whilst looking at items on the shelves, click and collect pickers think that they have got right way, and although there are a handful of good staff most are rude and need more training in customer service even if this is to remind them that we are the customer and should be treated as such.
