“I visited here on Tuesday of this week and the usual queue was at the shop, after standing for around fifteen minutes and the queue not moving very far, I was about to leave and then the penny dropped that were two places to pay at the counter. The long queue was for customers paying by credit card and there was no queue at all for people paying in cash. I walked past the entire queue and was served immediately after I declared I was paying by cash as I usually always do. CASH IS KING and always will be in my opinion. I ordered the large fish chips and mushy peas with a free drink, tea, coffee or bottle of water for only £8.40. A large piece of fresh cod on top of ample chips with a carton of mushy peas in the corner was my reward. I wandered across the road and found an empty seat and ate my glorious lunch in the sunshine with a slight cold breeze, they were delicious and very cheap compared to my home location of Bishop Auckland.”

“For me, it's the best McDonald's hands down. My hash brown could have been warmer,It's been a while since I've visited there with my partner, but yesterday we had a breakfast date before we both started work. It's perfectly positioned for us as we both work in Hartlepool.The lady on the tills was just as we'd remembered her. The restaurant was immaculate and clean. It was also welcoming and friendly, too. I think it helps to know the staff and the lady on the tills was looking after a young lad who had recently started there.The thing I've observed from a managerial perspective is how patient and supportive the lady on the till is with everyone. Anything she needs to say is delivered with a sense of humour, and that's great. It softens the blow, but the message still gets across. The person she gives feedback to will remember that in the correct way.I stayed a little longer as my partner started work earlier than me. I had enough points for a free hot drink, and the lady at the till helped me redeem them, so the drink tasted twice as nice! ?We'll definitely be back next week. It's my turn to pay for breakfast ?Vegetarian options: Caters for both vegetarian and vegan dietsDietary restrictions: Staff are on hand to help with any dietary requirementsParking: It's got ample parking with a drive thru and collection points clearly marked. There is a Mecca bingo on the same site, so even at busy times, it should cater for lots of vehicles.Kid-friendliness: The restaurant was very child friendly and decorated for Halloween. The display for the Happy Meals was the first thing you saw when you walked inWheelchair accessibility: Automatic doors and entry at street level. There's a very slight kerb to negotiate, but it’s barely noticeable.”

“Ordered through just eat, delivery time wasn't too bad (40 mins).Ordered the chicken royal meal and doritos chilli chicken fries, and bacon double XL cheese burger. The chicken royale was lovely and tasty, and the doritos fries were very tasty, too. However, the cheese burger wasn't too great. It was dry and a bit tasteless. Therefore, I wouldn't order again.However, I would definitely be open to trying other bits and pieces on the menu.”
