Basic, booked for 4 nights, went to book for 4 nights the next week was 100 pounds more. Found a far superior hotel up the road for 62 per night

Ok, but chain pub next door was dirty and food was rubbish quality.

Older Premier inn, still uses keys instead of cards however, it was clean and warm. Staff were friendly.Due to older building could hear everything from room above, not good when they're stomping around at 2am.Breakfast in the restaurant opposite wasn't great, half over cooked half under cooked. Pastry and yogurt went down well though.Only a 1 night stay for work purposes so cant complain too much.

Simply a stop off point on way home. The room was basic but clean, reception staff friendly and competent in their role. Hungry horse across car park provided the breakfast, which was nice and unlimited. Excellent night's sleep, hotel was very quiet. No guests crashing around banging doors, which was very nice.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Nice food. Huge fan in my room as the weather had been so hot. Free tea and coffee etc in the reception area if you run out in your room. Great for kids as it had a wacky warehouse attached to the pub. Food was good in the evening. I only had continental breakfast so can't comment on Full English. Would stay again.

This is an older Premier Inn lacking some of the facilities more modern ones have like air conditioning. That said, it is well maintained, clean, and had very helpful staff. It is located somewhat out the way as well.

Had a great stay at the hotel, room was good and I slept well. Hot breakfast was ordered rather than helping yourself, but that wasn't an issue. I would recommend this hotel if visiting Durham.

Cleanliness not great very dusty, cobwebs in all the corners. Waste bin in the bathroom had not been emptied from the previous occupier.Rooms: Very dated need more power sockets or USB charging pointsFood & drinks: Disappointed with the restaurant next door very tired decor, tables sticky, carpet worn chairs stained. Food not great, no point being asked how you would like your steaks as they are all cooked well done

By far the most comfortable bed I have slept in, in awhile. Staff were all lovely.

Accessible Rooms should be 1. Close to Reception, 2. Have bathrooms with wet room showers/wall seats or at least low baths with doors and then a shower with wall seat. No doubt the Bean Counters who have little or no knowledge of Disabilities stopped the funding!

As soon you enter the corridor you're hit with a musty smell. Room 20 i was given absolutely stinks of damp. Spoke to reception who didnt agree with the smell (probably used to it) but happily moved us to another room.Outdated rooms, no bedside plugs.Wouldn't return unfortunately

A bit of a tired Premier Inn but clean and tidy nonetheless.Very decent welcome despite a booking error on my part.Room was fine with usual bed and bedding.Shower not amazing but warm. They offer some very good value rates so all of the above not an issue if you're paying a low price.
