I haven't been to the County in Aycliffe Village for quite some time, but as I was in the area I had to call in. Well I booked a table just prior to arriving to make sure I wasn't disappointed. First time visiting The County Hotel for Sunday lunch. Very impressed by the most attentive staff. Food and drinks were excellent. Lovely warm feeling and we will definitely be visiting again.

We stayed in Flat 3 in the newly refurbished accommodation. The room was large, very comfortable especially the bed and very clean, with attention to detail. Extremely quiet and a good location. We will definitely be returning next year.
