I had an amazing experience at the Nest Fisheries in Peterlee! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of crispy batter and tender fish. The shop's cozy atmosphere added to the enjoyment of the meal. Locals fondly refer to it as the Bells fish and chips shop due to its proximity to the old Bells convenience store, but remember, it's a unique gem and not to be confused with the chain of Bells Fish & Chips shops. A must-visit for anyone craving a true British classic done exceptionally well. Five stars!

Wow, way over priced, 0ver £20.Nice chippy for the most part, the staff are great the portions great but can sometimes be hit or miss on the chips but its right on my doorstep.
Well nice Friday night after a weeks work a good friend of mine to get some fish chips and beans and chilli sauce as usual absolutely amazing taste the shop is so clean staff are great I’m old school you can eat your tea off the the floor this shop is that clean I would recommend this fish shop always I know the prices have gone up but when the food is this good you will pay it

Nice take away offering a variety of alternative options to fish n chips. But also quite easily the best fish n chips that is local to me. Always freshly prepared, their kitchen is spotless, not sure what oil they use, not really the thing you ask about. I think it's possibly rapeseed as it's not greasy and light. The chips turn out crisp and bright, their fish is perfect and melts in your mouth.
