Best chips I've ever had, perfectly cooked . The staff are friendly, and very pleasant, and you can pay by card. I think I paid £3.20 for a portion of chips. Would have been five stars however one of the staff fed a dog outside the chip shop didnt wash their hands and continued serving customers. Will defo be back.
I used to go regularly to the Chester-Le-Street branch of Clems whenever I was visiting the area, and was sad that it had to close. However, I can and will always make a beeline for the original Spennymoor restaurant now - the same friendly service and just the best fish and chips in the world! Thank you!

Great plate of fish and chips sitting in the room at the back of the shop. Good chips, tasty fish and crispy batter. Waitress serving us could not have been more helpful. Decent prices topped off a good experience.
