Superb service from a really lovely chap on two occasions in a few days...very pleasant and polite. Coffee is gorgeous. Plenty of seating upstairs when it's busy downstairs so it's easy to have a quiet relaxing coffee break. We are regular customers, even our dogs love to go in and just chill out. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and incredibly helpful, especially the manager. The only problem is finding a seat at busy times, usually market days.
The staff here have been around for ages and they seem to really think about who they take on rather than cycle through lots of staff, which speaks volumes.I got served by Jackie and James and they were so helpful with me figuring out what I wanted and the service was so friendly without feeling forced. The atmosphere is always really cosy and food/drink consistently great.
