We arrived an hour early after a tiring 8 hour drive to be told we couldn’t book in for another hour unless we paid £10! I wasn’t aware of that so we got off on the wrong foot! As long as the room is ready, I think it shouldn’t be too much to let tired guests in? Any decent hotel would do so? However the staff member was apologetic and very nice. Since last staying at a Premier Inn, room service has declined; we were told we had to request it rather than it being automatic....read full review
Thught the pillows were hard very small standard room now you have to ask for your room to be serviced have used this hotel 4 times over the years travell3d up from Brighton but was born and bred in billingham maybe try Hartlepool mariner next time will be up in November

I have stayed at Premier inns previously and I enjoyed the stays I raised an issue regarding noisy connected rooms at Wilviston with people banging on the door of the offending room I complained to the reception in the morning but was not met with a satisfactory resolution this was not a good experience for my wife and myself
