Came to celebrate my great nephews 21st birthday. Lovely place and atmosphere. We were a party of 15 . Nearly everyone enjoyed their food. I paid a whopping £75.95 for a sharer of chateaubriand that was supposed to be 18oz fillet ( nearer 12oz total to me) . It was advertised as good for 2 or for 1 if you were very hungry. Been looking forward to coming here for ages. Food was cold, steak was undercooked. The ‘king prawns’ on the land and sea ‘sharer’ were tiny cold prawns. Crispy squid was limp and soggy, only thing that was warm was the chips which were over cooked. Cocktails were nice though. Left the restaurant still hungry after a £350 bill. Back to Miller and Carter in the future.

Never been here before got a meal voucher so we paid a visit for Sunday lunch. Had sharing platter, service slownand not very attentive, when the food came the meat was on a wooden board, it was cold, had to then wait for plates which were cold and the lamb was awful worst my husband has had. The beef and pork was OK. Not think we'll rush back as they never asked if everyone was OK with the food, no offer of another drink, staff too young
