Pubs • “This is a lovely local pub. We called in a few times whilst on holiday. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There is a good choice of food and a good Sunday lunch ,it's not a Carvery and you can have the smaller plate option. I really enjoyed Chickpea, sweet-potato and spinach curry. They have a good choice of beer's wine etc and at a reasonable price. We'll worth visiting if in the area.”

Pubs • “Wow oh wow. The food is genuinely home cooked food. The food was tasty and hot. The staff are lovely and they were very attentive. They pointed out if we ordered when we arrived we would go ahead of the 2 large tables in the restaurant. There isn't many good places to eat in the area so we are going to back quite a few times before we will go home. A big thank you to all the staff.”
Pubs • “Wow what a pleasant surprise when we visited the Black Lion. The atmosphere was electric with a live band playing, people dancing and generally everyone enjoying themselves. We've never been in this pub or even knew it was there. Well worth a visit and I guarantee you will be impressed if you like live music.”

“Cracking micropub in Brid serving a small but still good range of well-kept cask beer and boxed ciders. Barnsley Bitter a staple and great. One larger, Freedom, liked by most. Pies and sausage rolls available, along with bar snacks. Friendly landlord and customers makes for a fun visit.”
