I often pop in for a couple of drinks here and it's always friendly and has a well priced selection. Last week we came in for a Charcuterie Board and we were not disappointed. Sitting at a candlelit table in front of an open fire with a lovely glass of red we had the perfect tea time treat. The food was a really good mix of meats, cheeses and pickles.I would highly recommend a visit and the food here - a unique experience.
Been to this old pub before but a friend that came over from Yorkshire with me on this trip hadent visited before we went lateish in the day around 8pm it was still open though as sometimes closes earlier Monday nights good beer and friendly barmaid will visit again soon when over in Bridlington didn't have any food so carnt really mark that down for it.

What an absolutely fabulous establishment.I’m the Old Town this gem of a place is amazing.Came tonight with friends. We booked a room with a real fire and ordered a charcuterie board.Excellent value for money, the surrounding are out to this world, the drinks are extremely well priced.We will be coming back time and time again.
