A wonderful peaceful experience. Comfortable room & delicious food for breakfast & evening meals. Ample portions & nicely presented. Well kept beers & very friendly hosts. Thank you for a lovely breakfast. We’re moving to the area so will be happy to visit again. The food was lovely… a good sausage on a breakfast is always a must. I did ask if dogs were allowed and was advised “no” but an exception was made because the cafe was empty, which I thought was really accommodating. To top it off, the dog got a sausage without asking and by the looks of it, I got extra beans when I didn’t want tomato, again without asking. It’s that kind of...read full review

We went for lunch after seeing the sign last time we were in the area. Wonderful lunch, drinks and service. We were too full for a pudding. Alas couldn't resist the home made bread and butter pudding which was kindly packed up for us to take home. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
