The Black Horse Inn is a popular traditional village pub. There were quite a few people in having meals when I visited. There is a separate lounge/ dining room and a nice cosy dog friendly bar with a real fire. There is a good choice of beers, lagers, and cider, including two hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales when I called in. Visited the Black Horse for the first time today for Sunday lunch. We had a gorgeous beef dinner, all home-made. Yorkshire puddings, beef and gravy all beautiful!Staff are amazing, managed to book us in on New Year’s Eve and save us a dinner even thought they where super booked. Desserts were lovely too. Been there a few times, last year, and this week most recent. Can't fault the friendliness of the staff and the chef. Read some of the negative reviews left and I cannot agree with any of them. A very welcoming place in my experience.
