I can confidently say that this is the best tea room I have ever been to! Everything was just perfect - from the superb fresh home made cakes, scones and light lunches to the warm welcome that Rachel and her husband Ken gave it. The tea room itself was so cosy and inviting, from the gorgeous cuckoo clock and the fire to the door handles made out of spoons! If you're visiting Huggate or just passing through you should definitely seek out this fantastic tea room. It's immaculately clean,great value and everything Rachel serves she makes herself. We turned up as part of a large group of walkers today and we were made very welcome. The tea is excellent as are the date and walnut scones. Highly recommended.
