So where do I begin! Im normally loathe to give 5 stars as it really has to be something special and in this case, it really is! I was in the area for an event so I was staying in one of the cosy half moon cabins, on the rear of the property in the campsite. What a great campsite ! We came here with a group of 30+ friends and family and had a fantastic time ? I would thoroughly recommend the food at the pub -right next door - especially the Sunday carvery !! We live in Wakefield and have discussed going back just for the carvery !! The campsite does what it says on the tin - great siting, electric and ablutions (pay as you go showers, but so what!) Absolutely brilliant Sunday lunch , great choice of meats and a vast selection of vegetables. I would say its the best roast pork I've ever had . Friendly atmosphere and great staff.
