After a quick call to David the landlord, spent 3 nights in my motorhome at the Crown and Anchor. What a fantastic find this was. Home cooked food outstanding !! Staff and service both brilliant. Not a plastic chain pub, but a real place with warmth and welcoming people who genuinely have a passion for what they do. I would have no hesitation in recommending a visit. Thank you to all involved in making my brief visit so relaxing, and welcoming.

Great pub. Food and service excellent. I imagine it would be very lively if it wasn't January. Lots of locals though which is always a good sign. Will come back.
