While in the area on holiday for the new year, we rang and booked a table for 4 . Warm welcome, friendly staff. A good choice on the menu of pub favourites. We had American chicken, rump steak , fish & chips & small haddock goujons. The food was lovely, fresh, proper chips! Im always wary of the cut rump, but it was cooked perfectly melted in the mouth - compliments to chef! Potions were big and price reasonable. A very warm , comfortable feel to the place. Wonderful service, food, excellent venue for a party I would recommendFood & drinks: Excellent freshly cooked food worth a visit. I did stay here but visited for a family function
