Always enjoyed the York Mumbai Lounge and when we were looking for houses as a first time buyer (outside of York due to price) we found one near Mumbai Lounge Shiptonthorpe, and it is one of the reasons we bought a house near by. Honestly the best Indian food I’ve ever had (apart from my Nan’s). Fully recommended either for dining in, or a takeaway.

My only complaint is that the seating is very low and the entrance area with better seats is not well heated and is next to the entrance doorParking: lots of space near entrance
