Had an amazing Sunday lunch today, food excellent, staff polite, considerate and very attentive. Toughest roast beef I have been served in years. Finally managed to get waiter over to comment but didn't get a reply to my complaint until again I had to call over the waiter. The answer seemed to be that the chef and waiter weren't really interested and no recompense given for half eaten meal. No "how is your meal" while eating, no attention to customer satisfaction and no attempt to recover from customer bad experience. Staff need to be trained in good service and management need to do better. I won't be back!
Just popped in for a quick pint bar staff for a lovely very nice quaint little pub that I am sure I will visit again.

We went for a Sunday roast and the food was incredibly tasty. The best Roast Beef I have tasted. The chicken and lamb were also very nice. Location is veautiful and staff are very friendly.

Delicious food in a lovely pub with a wonderful view. I took a walk up from beech estate campsite and it was a really nice walk through the woods. I felt like I earned my pint! The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful with recommendations. 10/10 would definitely come back if I'm in the area. I highly recommend the homemade sasuage roll from the bar menu if you don't want a full meal.Walkability: Easy to walk to from the nearby campsite, although the stretch of the walk along the road was less fun.Food & drinks: Delicious food and drink. I tried the sillymoo cider which was great!

Had a special family event in the outside room and everything was fantastic. Service, food, views, facilities.My son did mention that there were no baby changing facilities in the men's loo.Everything else was perfect.Didn't stay in the hotel.
