Very nice fish and chips, infact, the best I've had in a few years.Parking: They have a few free, short term parking spots reserved just for the shop , round the corner from the shop.
Dont be put off by appearances...as newcomers to the area, over the last 2 years we have tried every fish n chip shop AND THESE ARE AMAZING!! Everything is cooked fresh to order (hate a battered sausage that's sat there for hours!) the cod is thick and white, the chips are the best in town and they are £7 cheaper for the same order in other well known chippies in the area!

After a long journey we were in need of food and decided on Fish and Chips. We saw the Blue Anchor and saw the free parking - even better! We were disappointed that we could not eat in, but had the best fish and chips ever, sitting in the car. Never tasted chips so crunchy and yet fluffy. The cod was excellent also.
