First noticed the outside with a touch of class about it. The inside has a comfortable traditional feel and the owner and Co worker friendly and attentive The food sounded fab I’ll be back when I’m not on a diet ?
One of a kind in my experience. Modest surroundings. Friendly service, and if you know where you can get wild mushrooms and sourdough for £7-50, well lucky you! Simple dishes but great quality.

My wife and I took a friend out for Sunday lunch (on 10/12) at the Bistro and had a great time - the 'feel' of the place was very welcoming, as were the staff and the food was great. We live in the Midlands (our friend lives in Bexhill but wasn't aware of the Bistro) and booked, based on other reviews that we had seen on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed - thank you Wickham Bistro!
