Had a nice dinner at this Halal kebab joint set along the costal road in Fishersgate. It is the nearest to our place where we stayed at Gordon St. Had a bunch of things but the wait was reasonable. The doner kebab was as good as anywhere else. The burger size was good with m medium taste. The newly refurbished pub looks good. Modern decor and a nice outside seating area.The menu on paper looked very good, but what a shame that it didn't deliver. We felt it was higher end pub chain prices for average food. My husband liked the burger but the risotto and pie meals were disappointing. Also felt the portion sizes were small, particularly the portions of chips.We all agreed we would visit again when in the area for a drink but unlikely to eat here again
