Having queued at a restaurant just along from this one for twenty minutes only to be told they had run out of food, this was the next eatery along the front. We received a nice welcome from the waitress and ordered. A large fresh cod and plate of chips £6.95. Bargain, in my book. The lunch was well cooked and was served within 10 minutes. Inside and outside tables, the outside seating is almost on the beach, lovely views of pier and beach. Staff very friendly and very busy. Fish tasted fresh, the portions were large and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. There were sea gulls looking for food as usual and we did see one swoop and grab a chip from a plate while people were still sitting at the table so be aware
