We visited The Set to celebrate our engagement. We were not disappointed, the welcome was warm. The atmosphere cosy but not crowded. The food was delectable, the staff friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We had an assistance dog with us and there was a water bowl waiting for him and a space big enough for him to feel comfortable when we arrived. We had a wonderful evening a The Set. The restaurant is currently residing in Cafe Rust which is a beautifully designed space. The atmosphere created is very special with a great play list to enjoy as you eat. As for the food - one of the best meals we have ever had. The tasting menu is delicious from beginning to end … 14 courses of delightful flavors. The staff were fantastic to us - and really spoilt us when they learnt it was my partners birthday. what an amazing experience this was. Found this dining experience on Trip Advisor and having never done this sort of dining before and being a friend’s birthday weekend, er booked this place. We were all blown away, the food was amazing, I tried so many wonderful dishes and tastes I haven’t tried before. Expertly cooked and presented, each course was beautifully presented and explained and so delicious. The team were lovely and I simply can’t recommend this enough. Wonderful….
