I was visiting Brighton the other day and me and my friends popped into this cafe for some breakfast, we ordered two teas & one coffee along with breakfast spending almost £15, unfortunately a fly fell into one of our teas, I took it over to the counter and ask if the person working at the time if they could exchange it. She then processed to use a spoon to remove the fly and commented "Flies don't kill people" I them asked again if I could get another tea, hoping for an exchange...read full review
Dreadful. It was the London to Brighton Vintage car rally. We ordered 2 x fish and chips and told to wait 5 minutes. 10 minutes and 15 minutes later my husband went up to find out where they were and was told to go away! I went up and asked and pointed to where it was written down. I was told by the 'cook' can't you see how busy we are? Now called modern world cafe and bar was served raw prawns after eating two I realised they wasn't cooked asked for a refund my I add £6 for four uncooked prawns I was. Refused but he did cook another two for me yet again cold and not cooked avoid food poisoning waiting to happen !!!!!!
