My second visit here and it was much better this time round I'm glad to say. Stayed in one of the newer rooms which was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic walk in power shower. All staff were helpful and friendly, especially those in the pro shop. Food was of a decent quality served quickly after ordering. We played The Woosnam course twice which was in great condition. The only (slight) downside were the buggies at £35, which is more than I pay on most other courses....read full review
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. She uses a wheel chair. We booked a suite instead of a disabled room. On arrival we were greeted and processes quickly by reception. The suite had 2 rooms a bath and shower. It looked onto the 18th old course. It was clean and bright. We ate in the main resteraunt and were looked after by happy pleasant staff. A two day golf society in April, we played the old course then Woosnam the next day, the old course is very scenic and a moderate challenge, it had really nicely kept greens and bunkers full of soft white sand, it looked like Augusta.The Woosnam was quite a challenge (most of us are mid handicappers), and although in good condition the bunkers on the old course had more sand, there's some great challenging holes, and punishing run offs.The hotel staff, especially the trainee chap...read full review
