Great choice items on the Sunday menu. Usual + a selection of Roast meats and pudding. A reasonable selection of ales and wines the ale i chose was excellent, apparently the pub is tied to the brewery. Fine day and outdoor seating was also available Luckily we had booked as it was busy.
Visited for a late lunch, very accommodating staff and happy for our dogs to visit as well (we unfortunately didn't get round to trying the doggy ice cream). Food was ordered and brought quickly well prepared and very tasty, happy to swop the fries with my burger for salad. Would recommend.

Came here for a Saturday dinner and wow! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly, the location is wonderful and the pub itself a historical gem. And that’s before you get to the food. A rainy day with a local ale sat next to the lovely roaring fire is about as good as it gets. I couldn’t recommend this place more
