Went at the weekend with a huge group, sat in the glorious sunshine in the charming walled garden and supped some very tasty Burning Sky beers, was a lovely afternoon, would recommend for others. Food and service were also very good
Lovely meal ?️ n a sunny day in the front garden of the Ram . I had chicken Milanese which was delicious and we shared a liver parfait and treacle tart, all very nice.
Only downside was the service which was quite slow and the tables were poorly attended. We had to ask twice for wine and also to have our plates cleared away. However I would definitely go back as great location and food
Popular pub with plenty of outside seating and parking. Book a table to be on the safe side. Good menu and in the back garden also a wood fired oven menu as well. Local beers and wine. Service can be a bit slow
Lovely place, delicious food and great staff.
We really enjoyed everything about the Ram Inn and will definitely return.
The beautiful walk through Firle estate to/from our campsite Woodfire was an added bonus.
Really nice food. Charming and efficient service.
Lunch was superb, great quality and very good service, will be going there again
Great pub, great food, and even a better pint of Guinness
Nearby activities: Walking activities; paragliding at nearby venue.
Walkability: Walkable from Glynde Station. Lovely walks in the surrounding area
Food and drinks: Food and Drink available. Inconsistent menu options. Limited vegetarian/vegan options.
Glasses aren't the cleanest, limited beer and cider options.
The only very slight negative was our bedroom. The noise from the fridge thermostat which kicked in regularly during the night was a little disturbing.
Otherwise we had a wonderful stay. The staff were attentive, polite and professional. The atmosphere in the bar was warm and friendly. The building itself still original and what an old inn should be like.
The food was well cooked and served hot, even though it was a busy night.
Not at all pretentious.
Thank you
Had a Sunday roast here. Absolutely superb. We shared the lamb shoulder roast for 2 persons, everything cooked to perfection, generous but not overfilling portions (enough room for a dessert!) lovely staff, super cosy pub decor, beautiful location. Desserts were also amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

Lunch was cheese ploughman's for £13. Nice salad and pickles but stingy bit of cheese and small amount of bread. I've had great lunches here before but this was a bit meh.
Country pub with dogs and fires but v good food . Wide range of beers. Great in good weather as lots of seating
Magic pub in magical village ?
Only popped in for a drink post walk but the beer was good and the staff friendly.
Took a look at the menu and we'll definitely be back to try it.
Had dinner last night with a friend, as always a lovely meal in buzzy atmospheric surroundings. We were able to choose the preferred table which was perfect as it wasn't too busy on this occasion. I had the recommended venison which is one of the best venison dishes I have eaten, perfectly cooked and delicious. My friend had the steak which he also highly recommended as one of the best. We shared a mini dessert selection platter, also sumptuous. Such a beautiful traditional pub, tastefully renovated. Perfect night thank you!
