“I came to gun hill on my own a few weeks ago. I was traveling in the area. I’m also vegan so I was looking for somewhere that could accommodate and they had a few option on their menu! I went for the vegan fish and chips which was actually delicious(they use banana blossom!). Julia, one of the waitresses was super friendly and came over to talk to me for a bit as I was alone and she was really lovely. “Delicious lunch here in a beautiful and quirky pub. Very old and smells of wood fire upon entering. Cosy table in the corner which was lovely although not dark. Upstairs dining room looks amazing. Sod and chips was delicious. Lovely service and very friendly bar staff.”
