Lovely pub.Amazing food, we travel from Essex to see the In laws and always visit this pub for food and drinks. We have always had a lovely meal and have tried a few dishes now. A very good variety on the menu.Have to say the chicken ham and leek pie was outstanding today. Homemade and delicious.Staff are always very friendly. We really look forward to visiting this pub. There is also a large outside area with play equipment.Highly recommend.

This is an excellent pub with good pints and honest chips. The atmosphere in here is excellently British which adds to its charm. The outside area is amazing with all the games such as pool to keep you occupied with friends. However, my one complaint is please put the Jägermeister in the fridge!!!! Other than that I recommend this pub to all :)

Sunday lunch. Really, really good food at very reasonable prices - vegetables were perfectly cooked. Plenty on the plate. Great, friendly staff.

Arrived at 12.30 and asked for lunch menus, the owner ( I assume) looked a bit panicked and said “I’ll have to check with the chef!!’ I mean 12.30?.. he returns to say we could have the ‘outside’ menu. The garden was lovely and we settled down to make our choices. One is gluten free and she asked for the options ‘we don’t have any’ followed by ‘I suggest you don’t eat here’. Unbelievable. 2023. Surely they could buy a few more pans. So 7 of us £250 plus walked out and had a glorious meal a couple of miles away.

We just popped in for a drink on a Sunday, 13th August, evening. There was a darts match in play, but the friendliness of everyone was so welcoming. Chap behind the bar was so friendly and helpful, really nice. Haven't tried the food although it has been recommended so will go back for that. Took a look around the outside area. It was amazing, very large, lots of seating, games, and plenty of umbrellas. Probably the most impressive pub garden I have seen in a long time, so clean and tidy too. Will definitely be visiting again, hopefully try the Sunday lunch.

Chef was off so understandably the food service was slow but worth the wait. Patio was lovely and clean. Other patrons were friendly and well worth a visit.

Hosts are very friendly and professional. Good selection of beers. Timing of food is near ideal. My Sunday roast was one of the best I've ever had.The place is definitely family and kids friendly - there are quite a few entertainments at the backyard.

We had a great meal at this pub on Friday night. The chicken pie was delicious and my partner just loved the Greek kebab. The waitress was just wonderful and looked after us well. This is just a great little country pub with the most amazing pub garden. We will definitely be returning in the near future.Parking: Lots of parking
