“Went for a Sunday roast with two friends and it couldn’t have been better. Fantastic roast, great wine and such friendly staff. Really good with gluten free as well which can be rare with a pub roast, I could even have a Yorkshire pudding. Will definitely be back.”

I had the soup of the day and on an exceptional cold day was more than welcome. The chowder was just the best and when the full roast arrived, oh my what a culinary delight. “I have lived over the road nearly ten years but never got around to venturing in to my local bar before. Sunday I had a craving for roast dinner so decided to take a chance and go in. I was lucky they still had a few left ( advance booking recommended) . I had the nut roast with a side of cauliflower cheese and sticky toffee pudding. Food was all well cooked and tasty. Staff were friendly. There was a nice chilled out relaxed vibe going on in the place. I will definitely go back and explore more of the menu.”
