A great local cafe with good food and tea/coffee. I don't understand all the negative reviews. This is a cafe, not the Ritz.

Best place in Hove for an English Breakfast!I have been coming here sporadically since 2016 and everytime I come, it gets better and better!The staff are incredible, kind and funny. The portions are super large! Very amazing value for money. The vibe in here is very chilled, and the decor is brilliant. It's a nice clean place, and of course the food is brilliant and yummy!! So hard to leave anything, even when you are already full!Vegetarian options: There's great vegetarian options and things can be swapped out to suit. Eg. I swapped out eggs for veggie sausages.Parking: Lots of free parking on the side streets. Just be careful as there is light touch restrictions between 10-11amWheelchair accessibility: No steps to get into the property.

I tried this Cafe a few times, trying different items of the menu and I find the food extreme flavorful as well as very reasonably priced for what you're getting. Today I tried the Jacket potato with Tuna mayo ?Finally George and the rest of the staff are very friendly and accommodating.Thank you guys.

Food came out slow once it came it was nice would go back again for breakfast but slow to bring food to u when we in there one person waiting least 20 mins for sausage sandwich
One of the best café we’ve been to; they serve authentic local fare that’s good for the stomach and nourishing for the soul, we loved the sausage, hash browns, egg, bacon, mushrooms, chips, baked beans, and coffee. If you’re looking for some delicious and affordable British food, this is your spot.Overall, it was a great British experience.

I have ordered from scotties cafe several times, through deliveroo.Order is always on time, well packaged and the food has always been hot.I have high expectations of food. In my opinion, the sausages and bacon are good quality... I would definately recommend them.Everything is packed seperately to keep the heat, always had a great experience ?

Poached eggs were excellent.Only down side was only getting 1 rasher of bacon and the price. It was expensive. £10. 3 poacher eggs on 2 toast with bacon & beens black coffee and OJ.However the taste and quality of the food was brilliant
