Popped in here for a coffee and a bacon bap in the afternoon. Great coffee really tasty food and excellent value. Charging a third less than some venues. Will be back for the big brunch soon!

Our first visit to the big beach cafe , ordered 4 x meals and round of drinks , sadly mistake was made , the food was left outside to be collected by us and we were sitting inside waiting , by the time we had realised food was cold . Spoke to ‘Ant’ who kindly offered us a full refund or full replacement , top class in resolving issue , we agreed to having part food re cooked plus part refund , but Ant went over the top and gave us all 4 free drinks too , incl. two alcoholic ! Fantastic service , fantastic food and almost felt guilty we complained , 100% will be returning , thank you very much

Hot drinks were very milky and tasteless. Sugar wasn’t brought with drinks, and when it arrived we still had to ask for a spoon to stir. Food was well presented, but rather bland. Cutlery wasn’t brought with food. The pink haired server was an absolute delight though, she’s the reason I’m not giving this place a 1 star review. The other lady kind of seemed a little overwhelmed, but it was quite a busy morning so I can’t blame her for that. All in all, I probably wouldn’t recommend Big Beach Café to foodies or people who like tasty hot beverages.

Poor attitude from barista. Food was great, just shame about the poor service and COVID rules not clear. Kids running around and nothing was said. No signs about whether it was table service or if you had to go to the bar to order. Very poor. Would not visit again.

We had an excellent meal. I had fish & chips and a beer, while my wife had a smoked salmon bagel and a large glass of wine. The quality was very good. Service was friendly. The fish was so hot I nearly burned my mouth. Very impressive for the price. We sat outside on benches and could easily socially distanced, although the seagulls had to be watched! However, had we not read TA in advance, we would have walked by. It looks shabby and uninspiring. The menu outside is incomplete - you need to look at the website. They clearly try to offer good quality food without frills at an affordable price - and they succeed.
