Had one of the best pints of my life here. Lovely atmosphere and so friendly.

Unprofessional bar steward, very rude towards people with disabilities, will never go in there again! Plenty of other great pubs in Lewes

Andy Tomsett

Compact, traditional town centre pub. Good range of real beer.

Great little busy boozer. Great beer, welcoming staff and regulars

The beer here sucks having gone with locals who also say the same cellar management is lacking. Otherwise service is OK and it's rather small ..

A very nice homely feel on the inside with tasty beers and ales. Nice to sit outside and watch the world go by on a hot sunny day.

Andrew Ferguson

Among the very best pubs for atmosphere and ales in a town spoilt for choice pub-wise!

Matt Debouge

Small pub, friendly staff and locals. Nice selection of cask beer and bottles. Good atmosphere and dog friendly.

Strange little pub, but it does feel very cliquey, in a non threatening way. Hardly room for the proverbial swinging cat, but this only adds to the quirkiness. VERY well priced drinks and well kept cask ales. Super friendly young barmaid, who makes you feel at ease and welcome. They have a couple of tables and chairs outside on the side footpath, so although not exactly prime location, you do get fresh air and the occasional passer byNot the greatest pub in the World, but if you are looking for that long gone, traditional, local ale house...you have probably found it here. Worth checking out if you are passing.
