Really well priced curry’s for how amazing they are!If you live near you it’s worth picking up the food as it is cooked so quickly and they give you a free beer or soft drink if you pick up. The food was delicious and to gather round log fires in the cosy pub with spring flowers on all the tables, was just what we wanted. We were really impressed and would highly recommend both the food and the welcoming atmosphere.

It is quite pricey but normal for Lewes and worth it. They actually have pitta breads available instead of the rubbish wraps and crumbly meat you will find in the town centre of Lewes.

62 Springett Ave, Ringmer, LewesEveryone who works here is lovely desserts , bread loaves and snacks are lovely however we ordered some sandwiches and we were really disappointed the bread was dry and some of the fillings that were meat were just full of fat and a little unpleasant to eat. The only vegetarian option sandwiches they had was cheese the cheese sandwiches were not buttered maybe tomatoes and salad could have been added to make it a little more interesting.

The food was impeccable, mainly Jamaican dishes with other typical pub grub, I had sirloin which was cooked to a perfect medium, my son had fish and chips (the fish was super light and fluffy) my friend had the goat curry. Suffice to say we were all very happy. Highly recommend this quirky little spot.

You're allowed to bring in alcoholic drinks to films & the chairs are all setup with cup holders, as well as being very comfortable. They support local art & have regular events celebrating cinema/arts, they also regularly show royal opera house performances.Fantastic venue. I've not eaten at the restaurant inside, but friends who have do recommend. If you're wanting to support local cinemas & more independent films definitely visit

Unit 14 Cliffe Industrial Est, LewesA good microbrewery with a great range of beers. Glad I stopped in for a visit. Didn't try the food, so can't comment on that. Strands 2 was the pick of the bunch for me; truly excellent. Not so big a fan of the Impy collaboration with Cloudwater. Normally like them, but a little sweet for me. Decent prices and pleased to see it was possible to order by the third.
