The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable, and the staff very helpful. I found it noisy at night, with thin walls and thin ceiling - makes it difficult to sleep. Wifi weak.

Good location, unfortunately weak service. Thursday to Tuesday no cleaning lady, no change of towels, windows cannot be opened, no toilet brush available, bad air in the room. Drinks machine didn't work in the evening, paid with card/money gone despite staff on site.

Gino was the star of the week for me. As a lone female traveler it's important to me to feel safe, thank you Gino! ?Rooms: Meticulously clean

Central location. Comfortable beds and nice room. But couldn't open the window and the vending machine wouldn't

Ideal for short stop over or stay. Typical Premier Inn: clean, comfortable: does what it says on the tin, and well. Not necessarily cheap, but probably reasonable. Good breakfast ( extra cost)

John Ellis

Ideally placed, for the lower part of time, food was good and breakfast

*Business Visit*Standard but more modern Premier Inn rooms that feel relatively new.Great location and quiet with polite and attentive staff.Standard Internet is shockingly slow, even for email and web-based work.Car Parking is Free after 5pm Monday-Friday but prior to that it’s 2hrs Max no return. You’ll have to park at the station which is £7.80 for 12 hours on the APCOA app (details at station). One of the better Premier Inn’s I’ve stayed at.

Rather cramped room, barely space for the chair between the bed and the desk/counter. Restaurant only just opening as I got there for breakfast, and food not very hot except the hash browns. Very quiet in my room at the back, however. For decent grub go downstairs to Zorba or Fuego Lounge.

Unfortunately the whole place smelt of the sewers. Probably not their fault.I turned off a the aircon but it seemed to turn itself on in the night and got disturbingly loud. Also there was no food in the evening. Overall not very good at all.

Being in many Premier inns. Some better some worse. This is one of the worst ones.Restaurant nearly as bad as non existent. Yup there is a Premier in with non existing restaurant in Basildon. Also trying to find any parking in this area is nearly mission impossible.

Sometimes, it's good to just get away for an evening and rest up before the week starts. The price on a Sunday is very reasonable, and check-in is early afternoon, 15:00. So there's plenty of time to kick back on a rainy day, or take the time to watch a film at the nearby depot cinema. We once had a complication with our room, which could not be resolved by the chap at the desk, nor by his immediate superior. However, the manager finally stepped in and resolved all with ease and left us feeling well treated and looked after. Thank you to her. We shall be staying again. The rooms are tidy and comfy. It's a bit noisy because of the hot air heating system, but otherwise, grand.

Excellent location for my business trip in the locallity. A council car park is situated next to the hotel which on a Saturday night was free to use. As for the Premier Inn it is like all others with a slight difference in that the reception is located on the upper floor. Decent room, clean and spacious. Breakfast was good standard also.
