We went for lunch today and each ordered Gormet Burger. Service was a little slow but acceptable.The food was well presented and hot. Sadly my burger was very gristly and rifted up on me for some hours following consumption.I guess we will visit this establishment again although next time avoid the gristle burger!
I think we went in through the back door although the sign outside did usher us up the stairs. No matter, we both had excellent light lunches, served fresh and promptly. Although the town itself was quite full there were still tables available, I can’t understand why. Well worth a visit.

I regularly visit here for breakfast. Their full English is great value for money. They have a good selection of breakfast, sandwiches, jackets and lunches. The service is always 100%. Lee is lovely. One of my regular haunts, beautifully situated overlooking the River Ouse.
