Stopped on our way home. Had a nice refreshing beer and cider while sitting in the spacious garden. Friendly service, and we had a peek at the menu. Sounded delicious. Next time we will come hungry.
Service was a little bit slow because there was only one lady behind the bar taking orders and the pub was busy. But the food was very good. The main courses were piping hot and the chocolate brown was delicious

Stopped here for lunch yesterday and... wanted to stay. The people were very friendly, the food was lovely and the views from the garden were just gorgeous ?I also paused to take a look at the memorial raised for the Polish crew who served for RAF Chailey (an advanced landing ground in 1943-45). I noticed a book on it was also available for purchase at the pub. ❤️Thank you for remembering the history and thank you for your wonderful hospitality ❤️
