Excellent Sunday roast on Mother’s Day but ridiculously priced bottles of house wine starting at £29! Come on guys you’re a pub not a restaurant in the centre of Brighton, I’ve been here many times in the past but will not bother again with wine to accompany my roast being that expensive!
We came here for a Sunday roast family get together. There was about 25 of including small children and a pram. When arriving the pub was super busy, but the staff still came to us with a smile and seated us in the lovely hire space as it was where they could give us one long table. (Close to garden) I had already given them a pre order so it was just waiting for our time slot which I had asked for to be about 1.30pm so we had 30mins to get sorted, hellos and drink. The Railway is a lively pub, in a convenient location for bus, train or taxi. The atmosphere is great with speedy bar service. Their Sunday roasts are to die for and the 2 for 1 burger night is not to be missed!
