“Third attempt to find a pub with a table at 5.30 on a Saturday evening. Having said that, excellent Harvey's to wash down great homemade steak and ale and salmon. A bit quiet!”

“Visited on Sunday the 1st of October at 1.30 for a family lunch.We were a group of 12 who couldn't fault our dining experience in any way .Five stars for service, food ,friendliness of staff and atmosphere.Well done!!!!”

“Wow what a find, will definitely be going here again and taking photos. Here you get fed & fed well. Definitely the best value for money I've had in a long time & I don't think it a secret as there were no empty tables to be seen. We arrived a little after 5pm & were very apologetically informed that they had run out of their Sunday Roast (a good sign that something's good). I had a 12oz Rum Steak, Chips & Peas with Pepper Corn Source while my partner had a Spicy Chicken Salad (wish I'd taken a photo to do the meals justice). This isn't fancy but it is Pub Food at its best & served really well. A good sized car park front & rear inside the pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere. My first visit and will definitely be going again possibly on a weekday.Parking: Go early popular place can get full.”
