The Forge, Lewes Rd, Ringmer, LewesGreat brunch with friends sitting outside in the sunshine. Service and food was spot on and even though busy, nothing was too much trouble and the food and coffee delicious. Freya in particular was excellent. Very happy to recommend.

Lewes Rd, Ringmer, Lewes10/3/26.....Tuesday evening....was advised to book...and yes ...it was well attended....
The food was excellent, and very good value for money....the portion sizes were enormous, especially the deserts...but sying that my wife's calamari salad could have done with a bit more calamari...but...
Best steak and stilton pie I've had...again huge....too huge.
Waitress advised that doggy bags were available!
The service was exceptionally good...
The bill did NOT include service charge so I left a good tip...as it was justified..
I had a look at reviews before booking ,as I/ we hadn't been there for years ( not local)....some were bad quoting poor service ....but in MY opinion unfounded...

Old Uckfield Rd, LewesLovely pub with lots of room. Excellent gluten free choices which is a treat in itself. The food itself was excellent. Best pub meal I've had in years. Thanks

Lewes Rd, Ringmer, LewesHi all we have been here a few times and it’s recently been taken over only a couple of weeks, well the new owners didn’t disappoint what a Sunday roast dinner, my wife had roast beef our daughter had roast chicken and I had a trio of meat roast, lamb, pork and beef,absolutely fantastic food the best roast we’ve had in a long time,beautifully cooked veg and cauliflower cheese to die for. We had to have a dessert as well which was banoffe pie and pavlova and apple and blackberry crumble which was all scrumptious,staff were very attentive which they always were and drinks were nice as well, will defo be going back very soon!!
