Its our New years day tradition, a walk aounds the castle and lunch at this great pub, not as busy this year compared to previous years but that didnt change the great food from a varied menu. The service was also great as usual. We will continue our tradition for as long as we can. If only we lived closer.

Everything is great, I think they need to change coffee supplier though. Found it a bit bland but Everything else is perfect, great staff.

Booked in here on a Saturday afternoon with our camper and booked in for an evening meal.We were Allowed to stay overnight in the car park if we book a meal.Fantastic location opposite Bodiam castle and a lovely cosy pub with open fire.Service, food and atmosphere was all first class and could not fault a thing. Thank you for a lovely Saturday, we will definitely be back.

Great pub to have lunch after visiting the castle and a walk.Food was great, we had the goats cheese baguette which was lovely and well priced.Plenty of high chairs for kids and the staff are efficient and friendly.Great all round pub!
Came here for a group dinner for about 20 guests. The food and the service were excellent and the price very fair. Recommended.

Great food, served by attentive staff. Table of 6 we all got what we ordered. The food was hot and tasty. No complaints at all, drinks were well priced.

Visited here on a very quiet Friday night which is a shame given how lovely the pub is. The meals were really nice and cooked to a high quality. The service was great and the staff were really friendly. There is a good range of drinks too. Would definitely visit here again.
