I'm sure this is a lovely place to eat but we arrived on a rainy Wednesday to find all tables taken which is fine but bearing in mind there is a drive for any other cafe it would have been nice for any of the servers just to have said hello and given a little indication of the wait. Rye Harbour means a lot to us as a family so can only be disappointed.

This is an unexpected gem. The food is really really good and the atmosphere very friendly and understated. The bubble and squeak is a must. The coffee really good too! And then there's the walk to the sea to let the food settle........ wow!

Despite there not being any water in the village for a few days the sandwiches that were produced were top notch.I had a bacon and egg and my friend a BLT. They were both amazingly fresh and plentiful. Will happily

Friendly staff, great food and fabulous coffee. Visited this weekend. Park in the free car park at Rye Harbour and walk through to this cafe (opp RNLI) . Tables inside and outside . Great friendly staff. Eatables cooked sequentially from scratch so some delay but worth the wait

Came here for a coffee and sandwich before our walk around the nature reserve. Friendly staff, affordable prices and everything made to order, so don't expect the rushed atmosphere of a Starbucks. It's a little gem of a place and I will go again on my next visit to Rye.

Took a while to find, ended up in a caravan park first time ? Spotted a small sign on a fence and found it eventually. Was on motorcycles, found somewhere out from to park them and went in for a cold drink and a cake. Had a lump of flapjack and it was almost life changing it was that good. Sat outside in the sun and enjoyed the quiet. Will be back for sure now I know where it is.
Great food and generous cake portions. Reasonably priced tea and coffee close to the harbour. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely food, however, they wouldn't give my daughter a glass of milk even though they clearly had milk for teas and coffee's etc. So she had nothing to drink as it was all fizzy drinks, which she doesn't drink.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly, no milk!!
